Urgency of Reducing Noise Pollution for Concrete Batching Plant

Management of noise pollution has been weakness of establishing standards for mechanical product. With rapid development, demands on controlling noise produced by mechanical equipment are increasingly strict. From 1984, China has enacted laws to restrict noise pollution of engineering machinery, but these rules are not specific.

Occident values both restrictions on noise pollution of engineering machinery and standards of exhaust gas emission while China has no explicit norms to limit it until now. In international competition, to China, noise control always is one of disadvantages.

Noise pollution has lots of hazards. Firstly, it, especially noise pollution caused by some municipal constructions located in densely populated city centers, has greatly affected normal life of residents around. It is hard to estimate the influence if there are old people and pregnant women. Secondly, because source of noise pollution is vibration which can lead to damage of some components and shorten service life of the machine, concrete batching plant is generally built in the suburbs. It is a systematic and comprehensive project to settle this matter for there are many fields involved, such as, materials, working accuracy, assembling level, quality control, etc. Humanization, which will greatly improve “green level” of China engineering machinery, is one of important development directions for concrete batching plant in the future.
