Terms of Concrete Frequently Used in Concrete Mixer Industry

1. Concrete: as building material, concrete is mixed uniformly by various aggregates, adhesives, admixtures, and water in suitable proportion.

2. Uniform concrete: when relative error of mortar density is no more than 0.8%, and relative error of coarse aggregate weight in unit volume concrete is no more than 5%, the concrete produced is uniform concrete.

3. Fresh concrete: without densification, the uniform concrete mixed by mixing machine is fresh concrete.

4. Premixed concrete: by the way of concentrate mixing, the fresh concrete produced by premixed concrete equipment is premixed concrete.

5. Roller compacted concrete: since dry-hard concrete and lean concrete with big particle size and insufficient cement cannot be compacted by common vibratory unit, vibratory roller should be used to crush the concrete.

6. Hydraulic concrete: for the volume stability and durability of hydraulic concrete after hardening, it is generally used in constructions of dam, especially the concrete produced with aggregate of large particle size should be adopted.
