How to Distinguish Concrete Mixers from Working Volume

1. Mini concrete mixer: mini concrete mixer is the mixer with working volume less than 400 liters. Working volume is the specification of concrete mixer, which is generally expressed by the total volume of all the discrete materials. At present, the mini concrete mixers produced in China have specifications of 100 liters, 250 liters, and 375 liters.

2. Middle-sized concrete mixer: the concrete mixer with working volume between 400 liters and 1000 liters is called middle sized concrete mixer. Now, the domestic concrete mixers have specifications of 400 liters, 500 liters, and 800 liters.

3. Large-scale concrete mixer: when the working volume surpasses 1000 liters, the concrete mixer is large scale mixer. Currently, the large scale mixers have volume of 1000 liters to 2000 liters, 2200 liters to 2400 liters, and 4500 liters.

Among the above mentioned concrete mixers, mixers with working volume of 100 liter, 400 liters, and 2400 liter are frequently used models. But in the constructions of railways, especially in the construction sites of tunnels, concrete mixer with volume of 250 liters and 400 liters are widely adopted for their convenience to be moved. Wheel type mobile devices are often installed on the concrete mixer with working volume less than 425 liters; in contrast, concrete mixers with volume more than 425 liters, which are customarily applied in large scale concrete batching plant or precast factory, are installed with stationary devices.
